About the Author

Zanni Raye is an Australian romance writer whose passion for storytelling is deeply rooted in her childhood experiences. Traveling across Australia in a caravan with her parents, she developed a profound appreciation for the Australian way of life. 

The rugged landscapes inspired her to create imaginative stories of strength and love to keep herself entertained during long drives from one destination to another. 

After attending thirteen Primary Schools in just two years, her family settled on a farm in a small town in the Western District of Victoria. There, Zanni attended the local High School, where she enjoyed raising bottle-fed poddy calves and lambs. 

One of the greatest joys of her youth was riding horses. Zanni joined a local Pony Club and eventually graduated to competing with horses in the eventing scene. Her passion for horses led her to work as a strapper at a local racing stable, where she rode track work and cared for Thoroughbred racehorses. 

Despite facing challenges with mainstream education due to Dyslexia, Zanni's determination to overcome these obstacles was fueled by her caring year 7 and 8 High School English teacher. He instilled in her a lasting love for the written word and the English language. 

Once she mastered reading, it became a vital tool for navigating her sometimes difficult childhood, leading her to realize that she has always been an author at heart. Through her work, Zanni's books reflect her journey and the themes of resilience and love.
